The Hive's Journey

Starting a business sure ain't easy. Well, who said it was? Haha...I thought it would be nice idea to have the creation, the growth and happenings of The Hive archived and shared with everyone. It's like seeing a child grow and have a special affiliation with it. Happy reading and have a wonderful Journey with The Hive : The Backpackers' Hostel.

You never realise if you never really think about it

These days the turnover rate of our helpers is astonishing.

We started with getting help from partners to employing student to getting friends of shareholders to help out. Here are the list of people who have worked here since we started employing in March.

Cheng Yao (Partner)
Eugene (Partner)
Chuan Yang (Partner)
Jasper (Partner)
Adrian Ho (Partner)
Tian Chye (Partner)
Hong Kiat (Partner)
Richie (Partner)
Ah Xiong (Partner's friend)
Wei Kang (Partner's friend)
Jacinda (Poly student)
Martin (Poly student)
Ryan (Partner's friend)
Wei Kiat (Part-time student at MDIS)
Alvin (Current helper. Partner's friend)

Look at the list. Can you imagine how many times I have to explain the chores to be done and how it is to be done? I think I should be able to become a cleaning cum housekeeping cum hostel managing consultant very soon. This is going to be included in my resume. Haha
